Welcome to the Lincoln Snipe Fleet

The Lincoln Snipe Fleet is a part of the Lincoln Sailing Club and a member of the U.S. Snipe Class Association and the International Snipe Class Association. 

The Snipe is a two-person racing dinghy. The boat is ideal for lake sailing and for learning to sail or sailing with children. While the Snipe's simple rigging and ease of motion make it perfect for learning there are opportunities to really dive into adjusting the boat and achieving more competitive and complex setups.

Every year, the Lincoln Snipe Fleet organizes the Fire on the Water Regatta, and actively participates in different Regattas across District II, and the US including Snipe Nationals, Masters, Women's Nationals and Midwinters.

The Lincoln Snipe Fleet is proud to support the University of Nebraska Sailing Team. 

Our sailors compete at the local and national levels. And enjoy sailing! Come sail with us on Branched Oak Lake!
